Martin Vann

Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales and Professional Services

As the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Professional Services for Avid, Mr. Vann leads a team of more than 550 employees and is responsible for developing the sales, service and distribution strategies for all Avid products, as well as driving new programs and partnerships that contribute to the success of all Avid customers.

Prior to joining Avid, Mr. Vann held numerous positions at Autodesk including Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Support for the Media & Entertainment Division as well as Vice President of the Media and Entertainment division. During his five and a half years, at Autodesk, the M&E division more than doubled its revenue from $130M to over $263M.

Prior to joining Autodesk, Mr. Vann was Vice President of venture backed DMOD, a leading media and collaboration security firm. Mr. Vann was also Vice President Sales and Marketing for IFILM, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business development for its business to business media portal.

Mr. Vann began his career at IBM, where he held various sales and marketing positions. He graduated with a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
